Decision Workshops has developed the software package Dilemma Explorer as a tool to help examine confrontations and pinpoint those dilemmas that are preventing agreement.  It captures the essence of the confrontation in a single screen and shows the present dilemmas and the the steps that need to be taken to overcome them.

 

It can also examine future strategies.  When the details of the new strategy are entered in the software it will immediately show what dilemmas will be eliminated and which new ones created, enabling you to think through your strategy and have confidence in your decisions.

 

The software is a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet (.xlsm) and requires Excel 2007 or later with macros enabled to run.
